Maryam Jalali

MSc Student of Medical Physics



Maryam attained a masters degree medical physics, after successfully finishing her bachelor of radiology.
Her masters thesis was related to the fMRI for pre-surgical planning in brain tumor.
As a medical physicist, she is passionate and motivated to learn about and be involved in activities related to new techniques of imaging along with the latest analytical and statistical ways in order to detect and cure a patient’s case more accurately and effectively.
Last but not least, Maryam’s fields of interest are: neuroimaging, image guided therapy, diagnostic imaging, molecular imaging, image correction and quality control of medical imaging system


Elahe Sadri

MSc Student of Medical Physics



Elaheh Sadri is a Master of Science in the Department of Medical Physics and Biomedical engineering at Tehran University of Medical Sciences and member of Neuroimaging and Analysis group (NIAG) at the Research Center for Molecular and Cellular Imaging. Her work focuses on neuro-metabolic disease – the connection between the chemical and bio-chemical mechanisms present in real neural tissue and fluids and the nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy that these mechanisms embody. Work in the NIAG group also extends into several experimental areas including human neuroimaging, and biomedical image processing.

Behrooz Vejdani

MSc Student of Medical Imaging



Behrouz is interested in the pathology and physiological structure of the brain. As a master’s thesis with Dr Oghabian, he examines the effects of anti-angiogenesis drugs on hemodynamic properties and the morphological structure of micro-vessels in glioma tumors. He believes that by combining diffusion and perfusion MRI data, the information can be obtained about brain mesoscopic structures which is not available in conventional anatomical images.
